The other night I woke up at 2:16 AM to this horrific sound - seems like coyotes crossed the bridge or swam the river to my side and were having a full-blown dance party over a...kill? Yikes. Sounded like they were right in the preserve behind my house - it was like waking up in a werewolf movie!!
Big, tough, eighty-pound Archer walked to our bedroom doorway and stood there, frozen while this went on. That's about as far as he wanted to go. Usually, he'll shove the shades aside to look outside, but he didn't even dare.
