It's that time of year when I get the urge to sit around with an eggnog watching holiday movies. My husband and I watch the same ones every year, so to make sure we're not missing any good ones, I thought I'd share them with you as a handy guide and you can let me know if I'm missing any winners!

It's A Wonderful Life

The classic and my second favorite movie of all time after The Philadelphia Story.

The Family Stone

Always liked this one, though the fact the guy starts with one sister and ends up with the other is a little creepy.

Home for the Holidays

That classic dysfunctional family during the holidays theme!

Elf

Will Ferrell could take a nap and he'd have me cracking up.

Four Christmases

Doesn't get great reviews but I've always loved Vince Vaughn and I still get a kick out of it.

Bad Santa

Love it! Fits my sick sense of humor perfectly...

Groundhog Day

Doesn't really count as a Christmas movie, but there is a lot of snow, so close enough.

National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation

Stupid, but I grew up in the 80s.

A Christmas Story (1983)

This is what is on the television 24/7 on Christmas day!

Miracle on 34th Street

Another classic, though I never liked it half as much as It's a Wonderful Life!
