Enjoy as a standalone or as your next fix in the heart-stopping series!
When the eldest sister of the Four Sisters tomato sauce dynasty is plagued by night terrors that she thinks might be related to something sinister that happened in their home, Charlotte and Declan are invited to explore the possibilities. Is the big Florida farmhouse haunted? Has the sister repressed a terrifying memory?
Either way, the detectives aren't sure they're the right people to call, but the pay is good, the food is delicious, and the case gets Mariska and Darla an invite to the sisters' annual Bark at the Moon Pet Costume Contest and Halloween Party. Good enough.
When a giant wolf-dog with glowing eyes prowls the garden, the peculiar nosy neighbor seems up to no good, and the family secrets start spilling at a frightening pace, Charlotte and Declan start to think there's more to the case than bad dreams.
When the body shows up, they're sure of it!
Win the Next Pineapple Release by Creating an Easter Egg with your Favorite Movie!
It's time again to give away 20 copies of the new release, and since this time it's Pineapple Easter Egg, which is riddled with hidden references to movies and Jimmy Buffett songs, I'm going to ask entrants to invent an Easter egg of for your favorite movie!
An "Easter Egg" in a movie is a hidden reference to another work, person or thing. For instance, when Elliot is walking around at Halloween in E.T., he sees someone in a Yoda costume - That's a little wink and a nod to Star Wars. Alfred Hitchcock and Stan Lee having cameos in their own movies is another sort of Easter egg. Any sort of thing that makes you go, "Hey, I see what you did there!"
So tell me how you'd put a piece of your favorite movie into a Pineapple Port novel! For instance, if you love Jaws, you might suggest a scene at the beach where some kids pretend to be a shark and scare Mariska and Darla. Be as creative (or not!) as you like!
I'll pick 20 random winners of the new book (and if you already bought it, you can pick another!).
